FLYING FROM ABROAD
**N.B.** The UK now requires all travelers (including US and EU) to apply for an ETA, a visa of sorts. It is all online, costs around $13, and is usually returned in 3 days. You cannot board a flight without it.
London Stansted is closest, but Heathrow is certainly most likely to be your port of arrival (especially if you want to book a direct flight)
ONCE IN THE UK
The drive to Cambridge from London is 90-120 minutes. Taxis will happily take you, but this is often quite expensive. The alternative option is to take the London Underground from Heathrow to King's Cross train station where you can catch a train into central Cambridge. We recommend booking train tickets ahead of time - we are more than happy to assist you! For the Potter fans, taking the train means you can squeeze in a quick photo op at Platform 9 and 3/4 on your way (although queueslines can vary in length).
On the wedding day, we will organizse a meeting spot for a coach to drive people out to Fulbourn, which is about 10-15 minutes away. Taxis/Ubers are reasonable to get there and back, you just need to call a few minutes ahead.
If you're driving, there is ample free street parking within a few minutes walk of the house.
Give us a call if you want any tips or help!
ON DATES
We will be headed off to Scotland for some rest & relaxation on Monday morning (the 7th), but we are very excited to spend time with you leading into the weekend, during the Friday activities, Saturday (of course) and on Sunday.
